Missed the good weather today, so I ended up at the gym during the rain. Of course all the treadmills were taken, so I biked for 30minutes. I will do my walking tomorrow. I am a rule follower so switching my days irks me. I guess as long as I am moving in some fashion, right?

I find myself asking what would a marathoner do quite often. I hope I am making the right choices. My eating habits leave a lot to be desired. I think it is from years of shift work. I don't make the time to plan my meals so I end up eating whatever is available. Luckily, I am a big fan of veggies. I don't eat fish (or any seafood) for that matter. I will try to stick with the other superfoods.

Happy training to you all.

Day 1 of missed training.

Well, I didn't XT yseterday, and I feel guilty. It is the first day that I've missed since this whole thing started. I guess the fact that I feel guilty is an improvement over my old exercise habits.

I am really looking forward to the nutrition meeting Saturday. It is always more serious when someone else tells you to eat right.

See you all Saturday.

Blogging is good for you. Blogging is good for you. Blogging is good for you. One of my many new mantras.

I am not so sure I have the right shoes. I seem to have sore feet and shins more often than with my old shoes. I am not much of a stretcher so I am looking forward to Saturday's information.

See you all Saturday.

Can't get the hang of this blogging

What a beautiful day to be outside. I just came in from a 35 minute walk around the neighborhood. So far the schedule has worked for me. I am really enjoying this new desire that I have to train for this crazy goal. Wish the weather would stay in the 60's or 70's because it sure is fun being outside.

See you all Saturday. Keep up the good work!

Well, I'm a blogger now. When will I be a runner? I have NEVER run in my life. I was encouraged this morning by the large number of people on the group run. Certainly there is someone else out there that has never run before. I have been walking diligently for several months, and still don't feel like I am ready to be a wogger.

I will continue on the schedule and look forward to my first wog.
